This morning I woke up early to enjoy some solitary time and ‘go slow’ for a change. Make a little coffee, check out the temp outside by stepping onto the patio and seeing what the birds, squirrels, sometimes foxes are up to. I live in a suburb of CT that is an hour from NYC, with nice large lots that require lots of mowing, but also give some space to our homes. I watered the plants, then sat down to enjoy my coffee, check my email, do Wordle and maybe read a little bit. I made the mistake of reading several news articles on inflation, climate change, the war in Ukraine, teenage depression and addiction...because that's all that was available.
